Bio: Stuart Shirley is pursuing a Master of Science in Metallurgy with CANFSA, he graduated from Colorado School of Mines in May of 2019. As an undergraduate career Stuart interned with Center for Metal Arts, Nucor Steel, Ellwood City Forge Group, and Emerson Flow Solutions. These internships provided Stuart with a strong background in manufacturing and production processes. His primary passision is forging and deformation processes and can often be found swinging a sledge hammer or running a power hammer in his free time. Skiing in the Colorado Rockies is one of Stuart’s favorite outdoor winter activities.
