Degree Plan: Doctorate of Philosophy
Completion: December 2019
CANFSA Student Since: August 2015
Bio: Sean joined CANFSA as a graduate researcher in August 2015, and is continuing with the center for his PhD. Currently working on NiTiHf alloys designed for space-age tribological systems, his multimodal study includes mechanical and rolling contact fatigue behavior supported by microstructure characterization of these ternary alloys. In addition to research activities at Mines, Sean enjoys skiing, rock climbing, guitar and piano.
