Bio: A student in materials science and engineering, Katie received her bachelors of science in the field from Clemson University in 2015 and is currently working on her Ph.D. from Iowa State University. Her interest is in understanding the physics which occur during additive manufacturing of non-ferrous alloys. Outside of school she enjoys reading, writing fiction, and enjoying the outdoors.
