Bio: Joe received his BS in Materials Science and Engineering with a minor in Physics from UC Berkeley in May 2015 and joined CANFSA as a graduate student in June 2015 to pursue a PhD in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. He is currently working on developing novel high temperature structural aluminum alloys compatible with conventional solidification processing. Outside of work, Joe enjoys running, hiking, painting, and video games.
