Bio: Chloe is a PhD student who started in Fall of 2017. She is working with Dr. Amy Clarke studying the rapid solidification of aluminum alloys, namely investigating binary and ternary alloys as well as metal matrix composite powders. Outside of research, she collects old books, plays guitar, creates canvases, and enjoys the typical Colorado activities of hiking and snowboarding.
