Bio: Alec joined CANFSA as an undergraduate researcher in January 2017, and is continuing with the center for his PhD. Currently working on improving metallic additive manufacturing, he has long had an interest in non-ferrous alloys used extensively in aerospace and space exploration. When not working in the lab, Alec enjoys experiencing all of Colorado’s outdoor beauty through hiking and running, playing the occasional game of racquetball, making short hobby videos, and computer games.
